At London’s Excel, during IFSEC International 2019, Nedap Identification systems will, for the first time, introduce the new Lumo ANPR to the market. This latest offering from Nedap was engineered with the user in mind and enables its partners and end-users to benefit from the latest in Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology. The ANPR Lumo
all-in-one advanced license plate reader was specifically designed for vehicle access control.

“Nedap has decades of experience in developing innovative technology for vehicle identification. We are excited to launch this advanced license plate reader, that can be used in a wide variety of security and parking applications. It is the easy and accessible solution for automatic vehicle identification,” says Ido Wentink, Proposition Manager at Nedap Identification Systems.

The ANPR Lumo is an all-in-one license plate reader. With a range of action of 2 to 10 metres (6.5 to 33 feet), this advanced reader ensures a smooth recognition of vehicles. The ANPR Lumo can be used in both barrier-controlled and free-flow applications. Thanks to its deep-learning algorithm, according to Nedap, end-users benefit from an exceptionally high read accuracy.

“The ANPR Lumo is a high performance reader, yet it is easy to use. It was developed with our users in mind. This plug & play reader can be easily installed at any vehicle entrance. Our straight-forward web interface allows installers to quickly configure the reader and offers built-in access control features. In addition, the Rest API enables third parties to seamlessly integrate the ANPR Lumo,” says Michel Korthout, Product Manager at Nedap Identification Systems.
