Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc., a leading provider of AI-based security solutions, has partnered with Stern Grove Festival to enhance safety and streamline entry procedures at the historic music event in San Francisco.
The festival, which has been offering free musical performances for over 88 years, has implemented Evolv Express® weapons detection systems at its main entrances since the opening weekend on June 15, 2025.
The installation of Evolv Express was motivated by Stern Grove Festival’s commitment to prioritizing visitor safety and improving the efficiency of entry into the venue. Prior to this upgrade, security operations depended heavily on conventional walk-through metal detectors and manual bag inspections.
Given that attendees often bring picnic supplies, the manual checks frequently led to cumbersome delays. The new security setup aims to expedite screenings, thus significantly enhancing the overall guest experience.
