Hanwha Vision has unveiled its latest 2nd Generation X Series AI Compact Cameras, enhancing its range of security solutions with new compact models designed to meet modern surveillance needs.
Known for their advanced features, these cameras incorporate the Wisenet 9 SoC and a Dual NPU, offering sophisticated AI-based image enhancement and precise object analytics. Suitable for a variety of environments, their compact form facilitates easy installation in restricted or unusual spaces, making them an excellent choice for settings such as high-end retail outlets and expansive commercial facilities, both indoors and outdoors.
The newly introduced cameras, marking the debut of compact AI in the X series’ 2nd generation, boast a high-performance AI engine capable of accurate object classification. This technology supports Dynamic Privacy Masking (DPM), which can automatically obscure people, vehicles, faces, or licence plates in real-time, safeguarding privacy without sacrificing monitoring efficacy.
The sleek design allows the cameras to integrate seamlessly into various interiors by minimising visible disruption while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the space. With a 120mm diameter, each unit fits snugly over a single gang box when mounted on a wall, offering a clean, professional finish without needing extra components.
Setting a precedent in the X series, these compact cameras come with integrated IR technology, crafted with an innovative design that places the IR outside the dome bubble. This prevents internal reflection and offers an IR range of 25 metres, delivering superior visibility even in complete darkness. The camera lineup includes models with 2MP, 5MP, and 8MP resolution options, and with IP66 and IK10 ratings, they provide dependable surveillance for both indoor and outdoor conditions, even in demanding environments.
