Yale Home has announced the release of its Yale Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave.
The company says this announcement is an extension of its latest and most advanced collection of smart locks. The smart-home friendly line of products offers Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and now Z-Wave connectivity to give homeowners more connectivity options to best suit their smart home environments.
According to the company, the Yale Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave is compatible with the smart home industry’s most popular security and home automation platforms, including Ring Alarm and Samsung SmartThings. Yale Home emphasises that dealers can pair Assure Lock 2 with Z-Wave smart locks to these platforms to power remote operations, voice assistant capabilities, and to create one-touch automated scenes to help their customers with everyday activities, while benefiting from the overall convenience and security that Assure Lock 2 offers.
The company adds the lock is available from a number of retailers. The newly announced smart home locks with Z-Wave are now available on ShopYaleHome.com, and the locks’ availability from Amazon is coming soon. Yale Home offers the locks in a choice of four models with the Z-Wave Smart Module in the box. The new Z-Wave enabled locks are offered in touchscreen, keypad, keyed or key-free models, and are available in three finishes that include satin nickel, black suede and oil rubbed bronze.
