Vivotek USA has been awarded 2017 New Product of the Year under the IP Camera Single-sensor Panoramic category for the company’s H.265 5-megapixel IR fisheye camera, the FE9382-EHV. The New Product Award honours Vivotek’s outstanding product development achievements as a security solution provider whose products emerge to enhance the security industry. Vivotek’s FE9382-EHV was in competition against many entries from other manufacturers during the 9th year of the independently judged contest.
Vivotek’s FE9382-EHV H.265 fisheye network camera features a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor offering effective image quality. By utilising H.265 compression technology and Vivotek’s Smart Stream II technology, the camera is able to reduce both bandwidth and storage consumption by up to 80% while retaining image quality. Equipped with a fisheye lens for 180° panoramic view (wall mount) or 360°surround view (ceiling/floor mount) with no blind spots, the camera is ideal for wide, open areas such as shopping malls, airports, retail stores, offices and more. Containing IR illuminators up to 20 metres, this camera will maintain surveillance coverage throughout the day and evening. Designed with full EN50155 compliance, vandal proof IK10 rated and weatherproof IP66-rated housing, the camera can withstand shock, vibration, humidity, dust and temperature fluctuations whilst a vehicle is moving.
