Videonetics has announced a seamless integration of its AI-driven Video Management System (VMS) with the Matrix COSEC Access Control platform. This integration facilitates a unified, automated security operations environment for enterprises and critical infrastructure operators by merging the capabilities of Videonetics’ video intelligence with Matrix COSEC’s sophisticated access control system.
The collaboration between Videonetics and Matrix COSEC offers centralised situational awareness, enabling faster threat verification and proactive incident responses through a single interface. The integration’s scalable, API-driven framework removes the need for third-party middleware, allowing security teams to manage access events and video feeds in real-time, automate response workflows, and streamline security operations across multiple locations.
This new solution ensures real-time synchronisation of users, credentials, and access events between the VMS and Matrix COSEC. As a result, security teams can quickly verify access events with live or recorded video, enhancing incident investigation processes. In addition, the system supports intelligent automation and rule-based event triggers, along with unified E-Map visualisation, boosting situational awareness and responsiveness in various facilities.
The integration is suitable for sectors demanding high operational efficiency and rapid response, such as large enterprises, smart cities, airports, transportation hubs, manufacturing plants, and government facilities.
Parag Agarwal, Senior Vice President & Chief Product Officer at Videonetics, stated, “At Videonetics, we believe the future of security lies in AI-driven unified operations. The integration with Matrix COSEC significantly enhances our AI-Powered VMS ecosystem by bringing together access control and video intelligence into a single command environment. This empowers organisations with deeper situational awareness, faster decision-making, and a more proactive approach to security and operational management.”
Tarun Sharma, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Matrix Comsec, emphasised the necessity for open and interoperable security ecosystems. He remarked, “Organisations today require open, intelligent, and interoperable security ecosystems that simplify operations while improving responsiveness. Our integration with Videonetics enables customers to unify physical security operations with greater efficiency and operational control.”
This strategic alignment not only underscores Videonetics’ dedication to creating an open and interoperable ecosystem but also assists customers in maximising their security investments. It contributes to advancing digital transformation initiatives across critical infrastructures and enterprise settings.
