The new perimeter protection device, Impaq S G3, from Texecom has been designed to provide a so-called step change in shock detection performance, with Viber Accelerometer technology for what the company is calling “class leading, and standards-exceeding” intruder detection.

With full third party EN Grade 3 compliance, the device also features the aesthetics demanded for high end residential and commercial properties while being extremely easy to install.

The new European Standard for vibration detectors, EN50131-2-8, mandates stringent performance criteria across a wide range of surface materials. According to Texecom, the Impaq S G3 exceeds these requirements, and has been independently certified by Kiwa Telefication.

“We’re pleased to add the new easy to install Impaq S G3 shock sensor to our portfolio, with flexibility at its heart, it is the perfect choice for applications where switching between Grade 2 and Grade 3 devices may be necessary” said Michael Govier, Product Manager.

“What’s more, Texecom’s leading built-in Viber Accelerometer technology provides a much higher level of accuracy for vibration detection compared to piezoelectric technology reducing the level of false alarms; making this the perfect device for both commercial and high-end residential settings” he added
