Paxton Access Ltd, has been ranked 22nd on the Best Companies to Work For List in the UK, and named 1st in the Manufacturing sector. This is the company’s fifth time ranking in the Best Companies to Work For list, including having been previously featured in The Sunday Times 100 list.
Nicola O’Donnell, HR Director at Paxton, thanked everyone who took the time participating in the survey, and says: “We take part in the Best Companies survey to check in on how our people are feeling, what they like about our company, and what we can do to improve across the company. The achievement shows that our employees have a voice that is listened to and taken seriously, and that we are taking consistent steps to make positive changes.”
The ranking was evaluated based on employee surveys and affirms that the company is striving towards an outstanding workplace. It additionally gives an insight into areas it can improve to further enhance employee satisfaction and its position on the list in the years ahead.
In the survey, employees expressed positive feedback on overall company values and culture. 95% of employees believe they can make a valuable contribution to the success of Paxton, and 90% feel proud to work for the company. Overall, 88% of employees agree there are strong company values and principles, showing that they resonate with the company vision.
Paxton focuses on creating a modern workplace and great company culture, and provides on-going training and annual budget for employees’ career and personal development. A range of charitable initiatives are organised every year, including fundraising for local charities via social games and competitions, and participating in the Dare to Dream mentoring programme.
