Seco-Larm U.S.A., Inc. is introducing its outdoor stand-alone / Wiegand keypad with proximity reader, model SK-2612-SPQ. The SK-2612-SPQ supports 1,000 users (up to 998 users and 2 duress users) with user code lengths from 4~6 digits.
The device supports 9~18 VDC operation with a low current draw of 105mA max. and a form C relay output of 2A at 12VDC. There is an adjustable output time from 0.5~99 seconds, or an option of setting it to toggle. Users can be easily transferred to additional devices using the Wiegand output.
Equipped with backlit keys, and a multicolour status LED, the reader also incorporates a built-in tamper alarm and external alarm (duress) output. All features are programmed directly on the keypad, without the need for an external programmer. The egress input lets users exit the premises without a code/card.
The SK-2612-SPQ can serve as either a Wiegand reader or controller, both output and input are selectable 26~37 bits. It supports a 2-door interlock function and is made of an epoxy-filled black ABS plastic housing. The weather-resistance rating is offered at IP66, and extreme cold tolerance to -40° F (-40° C). EM 125kHz, Proximity cards (PR-K1S1-A) and keyfobs (PR-K1K1-AQ) are sold separately.
