The Optex BX Shield has been nominated as finalist in the Intruder Product Of The Year category for the prestigious PSI Premier Awards 2018 and also for an innovation award in the Benchmark awards 2018.
BX Shield has a sleek design to complement its high performance. BX Shield is a series of curtain-based outdoor motion sensors with up to 12 metre detection range on each side of the device. This makes them suitable for the detection of intruders at the boundary of a building. The external sensors make use of four PIR elements, two on each side of the unit. The left and right detection areas can be configured completely independently of each other, adding flexibility.
