The Florida-based manufacturer asserts this new innovative exterior door system offers homeowners high levels of protection, with four times more impact resistance than standard deadbolt locks as confirmed by certified third-party testing.

Masonite emphasises that its M-Protect offers the added strength of a multi-point lock with the ease of standard deadbolt operation. The company points out the product is compatible with a wide array of handlesets and off-the-shelf hardware including electronic deadbolts from many of today’s popular brands. M-Protect, Masonite claims, serves as a vital security enhancement to the Masonite Performance Door System, which is proven to be 64% more effective at keeping air and water out than the leading competitor.
The Masonite Performance Door System with M-Protect Multipoint Security Lock is a premium option available with all Masonite exterior fibreglass doors, which include a range of designs, finishes, colours, and glass styles. M-Protect is currently available through select Masonite distribution partners and will be offered in home improvement retail stores across the U.S. and Canada beginning this spring
