
Innodisk has announced a significant advancement in its memory solutions with the unveiling of the DDR5 7200 RDIMM, marking a notable development in its DDR5 series.
This introduction provides higher performance, with capacities reaching up to 64GB per single module, and aims to push forward innovation within embedded and edge AI markets.
The DDR5 7200 series features a substantial increase in data transfer speeds, achieving 7200 MT/s, which is a 12.5% improvement over previous models. Available in capacities from 8GB to 64GB, the RDIMM configurations range from 16GB to 64GB, catering to various needs in technology-driven industries.
This new series addresses the demands of enterprise data centres and edge AI servers, meeting the growing necessity for on-site confidential computing. This enables secure local data processing with enhanced privacy and protection measures.
Innodisk continues to emphasise its commitment to reliable performance by maintaining a comprehensive validation process. This includes stress tests under extreme conditions such as thermal shock and PCB bending, ensuring stability in challenging environments. The company’s extensive field experience plays an integral role in these enhancements.
To meet the diverse requirements of data-intensive operations, Innodisk plans to expand the DDR5 7200 product line. This will include CUDIMM, CSODIMM, ECC CUDIMM, and ECC CSODIMM forms, with releases scheduled before the end of the first quarter of 2026, providing customers with expanded choices.
