At IACP 2022 this month, I-Pro Americas Inc., formerly a division of Panasonic, will be showcasing its latest range of security solutions for law enforcement professionals.
Featuring an extensive range of imaging and evidence management offerings and advanced AI-driven software and analytics, I-Pro’s comprehensive portfolio of public safety and law enforcement solutions includes body-worn cameras, in-vehicle video systems, on-premises and cloud-hosted digital evidence management solutions, and intelligent analytics such as automated redaction to protect personal privacy. I-Pro offers a comprehensive solution to provide the law enforcement community with a fully integrated system.

“Video evidence has never been more important for law enforcement and public safety professionals. I-Pro Public Safety is dedicated to helping those individuals make the best decisions for their agencies and communities by providing reliable, secure, and useful technology at affordable prices,” said David O’Connor, Director, I-Pro Public Safety Division.
I-Pro’s BWC4000 body-worn camera features a unique 12-hour field-swappable battery, providing law enforcement and security officers with extended camera operation without having to deal with cumbersome charging cables. All they need to do is quickly and easily swap a discharged battery with a charged replacement if they remain in the field for more than 12 hours.

With the I-Pro BWC4000 camera, officers can quickly tag videos with essential metadata using an easy-to-use LCD menu. Designed to provide officers with a more durable and reliable way to capture video and audio evidence in virtually any condition, the BWC4000 body-worn camera is built to the demanding MIL-STD 810H military testing standard with an IP67 weather-resistant rating.

The latest enhancements to I-Pro’s Video Insight (VI) VMS now feature enhanced Vaxtor LPR integration and body-worn camera streaming.

I-Pro’s VI’s existing integration with Vaxtor Vax ALPR has now been enhanced to detect vehicle make model and colour when utilising I-Pro AI-enabled cameras. With I-Pro’s open AI platform, additional hardware and servers are not required since the Vax ALPR application runs solely on the edge, leveraging the I-Pro AI camera’s powerful Ambarella SoC. The new ALPR capabilities can be integrated with fixed and mobile video camera applications for improved policing and shorter investigation times.

With the latest version of VI, body-worn cameras can live stream video over Wifi to the VMS, providing true real-time situational awareness for operators monitoring personnel operating in the field. Perfect for school resource officers on active patrol, this capability offers extra eyes in the field so they can quickly call for assistance if needed.
