During the pandemic increased importance is being placed on social distance between people. For this very purpose, Huperlab is now introducing its 3D Area Counter solution, a solution that uses 3D stereo vision intelligent technology to help protect employees, customers and visitors from the virus.
The solution counts the number of people in a specified area. It is able to set a number as the highest limitation to generate an alarm. When it reaches the limitation, the system will alarm its built-in speaker by playing a recorded audio repeatedly – there is also the option of triggering the dry contact to control another device if required.
This solution can also be used in different applications where it is important to monitor a precise number within an area, like the number of people in a waiting area or for use as a digital signage viewing counter.
The Huperlab SDK is also an option to be used for further integration, such as obtaining the information of the number of people. The solution features an all-in-one AIoT Plug & Play smart camera which is cyber security certified, with built-in web server and 3D stereo vision intelligent technology. It does not require another PC to run the 3D stereo video analytics.
