Honeywell has revealed new brand identities for its automation and aerospace divisions, which will become independent entities as Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace, respectively. This shift is set to occur on 29 June 2026, following the company’s decision to spin off its Aerospace sector into a separate publicly traded company.
The automation division, Honeywell Technologies, will maintain its presence on the Nasdaq with the ticker symbol “HON”. This company aims to lead the industrial sector’s shift from automation to autonomous operations, offering a wide-ranging suite of technologies and software focused on enhancing productivity and growth.
Meanwhile, the aerospace sector will be named Honeywell Aerospace and will trade under “HONA” on the Nasdaq. Positioned as a pure-play aerospace supplier, this entity will focus on advancing the aviation industry, with emphasis on emerging trends like electrification and autonomous flight.
According to Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell, this rebranding marks a significant milestone in the company’s evolution into two distinct, strategic enterprises. Kapur stated, “Drawing on Honeywell’s century-long legacy, these new brand identities honour our history while reflecting the bold vision and strategic focus that will define Honeywell Technologies and Honeywell Aerospace as standalone companies. This is the start of an exciting new era for both businesses.”
The Honeywell Technologies brand is characterised by a dynamic and vibrant design, retaining the classic Honeywell red amidst an expanded colour palette. Its modern “HT” monogram and intersection-themed visuals symbolise the confluence of the company’s expertise with technological advancements, aiming to enhance precision and efficiency for clients.
Honeywell Aerospace’s new branding includes a distinctive logo featuring a stylised “H” and “A,” crafted with swooping negative space to suggest a horizon. Its sunrise orange and silver colour scheme provides a fresh identity while retaining the brand’s legacy of trust.
Jim Currier, President and CEO of Honeywell Aerospace, commented on the new direction:
“Our new Honeywell Aerospace brand reflects the precision, confidence and forward momentum that has defined the past century of innovation and trusted performance we have delivered for our customers and partners. As an independent company, we will be uniquely positioned to innovate faster, move with greater agility and shape the next era of aviation.” To provide further insights into their strategies and future endeavours, both companies plan to hold dedicated investor days.
