Headquartered in Bremerhaven, German seafood retailer, Deutsche See, is utilising eCLIQ’s electronic master key system across its 19 sites. Seafood retailer, Deutsche See, employs over 1,800 workers and supplies goods to over 35,000 customers from the food retail trade.
Therefore, the business is in constant need of new access authorisations which can be adjusted quickly and cheaply, with a highly flexible master-key system.

Protected areas also require different levels of security, personalised locking type options and high weather resistance — particularly in outdoor areas. The business recently installed the eCLIQ electronic master-key system, a fully electronic system from the ASSA ABLOY CLIQ programmable key-operated access control range, offering protection against tampering and intelligent attacks.

The seafood retailer’s electronic master-key system is managed via a scalable and flexible cloud-based platform using the CLIQ Web Manager. The CLIQ Web Manager allows users to program, reprogram or audit every eCLIQ key, cylinder, padlock or updater.

With the Software as a Service hosting solution chosen by Deutsche See, access control data is stored securely at ASSA ABLOY, and can be accessed via the system at any time and from any location. The software is said to be especially well-suited for management of large master-key systems or in multiple locations with large distances between them.
