Earlier this month, Diviotec showcased its panoramic onboard solutions at InnoTrans, where this year approximately 140,000 visitors attended from over 131 countries and 2,834 exhibitors from around 56 countries were present.
At the event Diviotec was geared up to highlight the strengths of its onboard solution that offers 360-degree panoramic coverage. With the aim of strengthening public safety and security, this Diviotec solution equips trains with the tools to provide a safer environment for passengers. The solution covers a complete panoramic video of the inside with the company’s fisheye camera NFF273 and EN50155 ruggedised camera NDM362 on the outside.
The Diviotec NFF273 and NDM362 are both equipped with intelligent ear audio function. Whenever there is a gunshot or violent event, the camera audio detection function can send a notification to the administrator who can evaluate the situation with video and respond to the unwanted activity immediately. Furthermore, the so-called unique corridor format mode allows users to get a vertically oriented, “portrait”-shaped video stream from the camera. This means that the video offers perfect adaption to the train side area, maximising image quality while eliminating bandwidth and storage waste.
Diviotec enables station owners and operators to respond more proactively to risks and incidents in real time through visual video and audio support, integrated with station systems.
