Conventional surveillance setups are ill-suited for expansive, dynamic spaces like vehicle yards. Achieving comprehensive visibility would have necessitated numerous single-sensor cameras, leading to substantial costs in installation and management.

The Panomera multifocal sensor system was selected due to its ability to capture vast areas and high-resolution detail views simultaneously. Housed in a single unit, its multiple lenses with varying focal lengths ensure security personnel maintain the full scene, even when zooming in on incidents, preventing any loss of information.
The deployment, carried out in collaboration with SCANVIEW, CERTEGO’s sister company in Denmark, was smooth and efficient, bringing to Sweden a solution previously unavailable on the market. The Panomera system provides several key advantages: high-resolution imaging over long distances in various lighting conditions, real-time event detection using AI-supported video analytics, and reduced camera numbers due to efficient area coverage.
Integration into existing security infrastructures is seamless, with continuous recording during zoom or tracking operations. The system is future-proof and scalable, offering lower total ownership costs due to reduced hardware needs and maintenance.
