CP Plus has announced a tie up with Seagate to launch Data Recovery Services in CP Plus DVRs with integrated HDDs. The service comes at no additional cost. The Rescue Data Recovery Service is available only with Seagate Skyhawk 2TB and above HDDs. The service is valid on CP Plus DVRs that are factory fitted with Seagate Skyhawk HDDs.
The data loss can be caused by software corruption, human error, natural disasters, mechanical damage or vandalism. The service is expected to be crucial in mitigating problems caused by data loss
