The S1 Lite is designed for quick and easy installation, which could prove especially handy for an outdoor setting. It is equipped with a solar panel and a 5,200 mAh battery, allowing it to operate an entire day with just 2.25 hours of sunlight. This means strategically placing the device in a sunlit location could render manual charging unnecessary.
Moreover, the S1 Lite supports both local storage on a microSD card (up to 512 GB) and data transfer over Wi-Fi, eliminating the need for a wired connection. It captures footage at 2K resolution with a 135° field of view and records at 15 fps. Whilst the frame rate may not provide the smoothest visuals, it isn’t necessarily a drawback for a security camera as it helps conserve storage space. A 100-lumen spotlight and IR LEDs enable the device to capture videos in either color or black and white.
