Ajax Systems, an international tech company and the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe, is expanding its partnership with Yale. The Ajax system already supports several Yale smart lock models equipped with built-in Wifi, and with the new Lockbridge (D) Jeweller integration module, locks without built-in Wifi connectivity now join this list.
Ajax Systems and Yale maintain a strategic partnership aimed at bringing secure access control into the Ajax ecosystem. Ajax already offers several integration options for Yale smart locks, and Lockbridge (D) Jeweller strengthens this collaboration further. With Lockbridge (D) Jeweller, the widely used Yale Doorman V2N/Classic and Yale Doorman L3/L3S models — used in stand-alone mode without being connected to the internet — can now connect directly to an Ajax hub via the Jeweller radio protocol — ensuring reliable operation even without internet access.
All lock interactions, permissions, and events are now fully available in Ajax apps. Users can:
● Add or revoke access codes and Yale key tags
● Lock/unlock the door manually or remotely
● Control the lock via the Device menu, Automation tab, room view, or directly from a Doorbell video call
● Receive instant push notifications with full action details
Real-time lock and door states, battery level, and connectivity status are always visible in the Ajax app. The lock can react to system events, follow routines, and synchronise with other devices to create a seamless access experience. These scenarios run locally through the hub using the Jeweller radio protocol, so even if the facility temporarily loses internet access, the lock continues to respond reliably to system events.
The module fits inside the lock and connects to the Ajax system by scanning a QR code. A step-by-step wizard in the app guides the installer through the configuration process, making setup fast and intuitive. All settings can be configured or updated remotely.
Lockbridge (D) Jeweller supports Yale Doorman V2N/Classic and Yale Doorman L3/L3S models in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.
