3S System to launch smart thermal IP cameras

3S System Technology, a leading Surveillance manufacturer based in Taiwan, has launched a series of thermal IP cameras, which deploy a unique thermal imaging detection technology designed in security mechanism enhancements.

The 3S smart thermal are designed to meet the latest trends in thermal imaging sensors being used today. They are categorised and divided into three different designs: explosion-proof thermal, thermal with dual-lens, and single-lens. The built-in AI algorithm and unique invisible light camera technology are widely used in applications demanding a high degree of safety.

The Explosion-proof thermal IP cameras are housed in a SUS304/316L stainless steel enclosure and are offered with compliance to IP69K rating + IK10 as well as Exd IIC T6 certification. The Single-lens thermal IP cameras have a built-in single GE lens onto the thermal module, with 384 x 288 or 640 x 480 resolution as an option. The Dual-lens thermal IP cameras are thermal vision with 80 x 60 or 160 x 120 resolution options, and the optical module is in 1920 x 1080 resolution. Both Single-lens and Dual-lens thermal IP cameras are IP66-rated for dust- and water-proof in protection.

3S Smart Thermal IP cameras offer effective fire detection to provide early warning notice. They also incorporate Smart Cross-line detection to help reduce the pressure of human monitoring. Sensitive Intelligent Detection and Monitoring functions are also supported meaning that the 3S Smart thermal series can detect and notify of any abnormal status in real time.

According to the company, the 3S Smart Thermal IP camera can measure the temperature of the crowd in batches, and does not need to measure the temperature of each forehead one by one, which offers greatly improved circulation ability for the crowd to be measured. These cameras are offered as a solution for all major public places, such as airports, hospitals, railway stations, passenger stations, MRT stations, ports and docks, offices and other crowded places.
