Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products, a business unit of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., bolstered its IP surveillance product portfolio with the addition of the IKS-WR7022 high-definition pan/tilt IP fixed dome camera designed to integrate with Toshiba and third-party NVRs for superior video management.
The introduction gives Toshiba security dealers a broader range of options for indoor/outdoor video surveillance installations, especially those requiring a low-profile, ONVIF compliant IP dome camera. Toshiba offers its dealers an end-to-end line of IP cameras, 960H cameras, NVRs, DVRs, software and accessories that fit a wide scope of budgets and installations in almost any business segment.
The IP66-rated IKS-WR7022 delivers full HD video (1080p) for both indoor and outdoor video monitoring down to -14°F or as hot as 122°F. It also features on-board MicroSD card storage to help prevent video loss by storing up to 16GB locally when communication to the NVR or video service is off-line. Combined with its HDTV resolution, this highly-responsive camera has 350° pan, 90° tilt and digital zoom for sharp clarity at any depth of field. Additionally, it is equipped with True Wide Dynamic Range for environments subject to high contrast and changing light conditions, such as entryways and windows. Multiple H.264, MJPEG and MPEG4 video streams can be sent simultaneously for user flexibility.
Measuring less than five inches in diameter and three inches in height, the IKS-WR7022 is designed for quick and flexible mounting on walls or ceilings. It is powered by either 24V or 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE). PoE eliminates the need for power cables and reduces installation costs.
