Hanwha Vision has unveiled three new ruggedised PTZ cameras, crafted to enhance surveillance in demanding environments. These cameras are constructed to endure severe weather and are equipped with artificial intelligence through Hanwha Vision’s Wisenet 9 chipset, offering advanced monitoring capabilities suitable for critical infrastructure, transportation networks, ports, and urban areas.

The newly launched models – TNP-A6550RW, TNP-A7430RW, and TNP-A9430RW – promise high performance with durability designed for extreme conditions. These devices operate efficiently across a temperature range from -50°C to +60°C and can withstand Category 5 hurricane-level winds, reaching speeds of up to 257 km/h. Such resilience ensures they provide uninterrupted monitoring through snow, heavy rain, intense heat, and severe storms.

Featuring anti-icing technology, including a window defroster and pan heater, these cameras maintain a clear view and complete PTZ functionality even in freezing climates. Advanced optical and digital image stabilisation technologies enhance video clarity, even during high winds or significant vibrations.

With an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and IK10 for impact protection, alongside meeting MIL-STD-810H military standards, the T series cameras are built for reliability in any scenario. Their durable design makes them suitable for environments like ports with saltwater exposure and industrial zones prone to dust and sand.

The cameras boast powerful imaging capabilities, offering a 55x optical zoom for the 2MP model and 43x zoom for the 4/8MP models, complemented by an infrared range extending up to 500 metres. They offer a broad tilt range and flexible mounting options to suit diverse deployment needs.

Utilising Hanwha Vision’s Wisenet 9 System on Chip, the cameras deliver improved performance in low-light environments and a superior Wide Dynamic Range, ensuring clear imaging even under challenging lighting conditions.

Employing advanced AI features, the cameras enhance operator capabilities. The object classification engine can identify people, along with clothing attributes, faces, vehicles, and licence plates, significantly speeding up forensic searches.

Dynamic Privacy Masking allows for compliant viewing in sensitive areas, while auto-tracking keeps the focus on designated targets amidst movements or crowds.
Built-in cybersecurity makes these cameras a reliable choice, with FIPS 140-3 Level 3 and ETSI EN 303 645 certifications supporting their cyber resilience. WiseStream technology optimises bandwidth without impacting image quality, facilitating efficient large-scale deployments.

Seamless integration with major video management software like Milestone, Genetec, Wisenet SSM, and Wisenet WAVE ensures they can be easily incorporated into existing systems.
