Prosero Security is acquiring Goldfunk Sicherheitstechnik, a security company based in Erfurt in central Germany. The move will help strengthen Prosero’s position in the German market and contribute specialist competence in advanced security solutions for road traffic tunnels, critical national infrastructure, and public-sector environments.
Goldfunk plans, installs, and maintains a wide range of security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, intercom systems, and fire and intrusion alarms. The company also offers advanced communications and radio systems, as well as total security solutions for commercial, public-sector, and industrial properties. According to Prosero, a combination of long experience, high customer satisfaction, and a strong capacity for innovation means that Goldfunk is well equipped for continued development in the rapidly growing market for technical security solutions.
Goldfunk Sicherheitstechnik was founded in 1992 by Bruno Manegold and Jürgen Stein. Since then, the company has grown from a small radio retailer to a leading supplier of highly specialised security installations, and now delivers services throughout Germany.
In particular, Goldfunk has a strong market position in road traffic tunnels – a segment with stringent requirements on technical security solutions, robustness, and operational reliability. These complex systems must work without interruption, even under extreme conditions such as limited visibility, high humidity, vibration, and temperature fluctuations, while they also contribute to rapid and coordinated action in case of fire, accidents, and evacuations.
