Prosero is accelerating its expansion in Finland and has created a leading position in the Turku region through the latest acquisitions of Tele-Projekti Oy and THV Tele – ja Hälytysvalvonta Oy. The companies run one of the largest alarm centre operations in the Southwest, alongside providing a high-end security solutions offering.
Tele-Projekti was originally founded in 1975 by the Luoto and Packalen families and started out by providing TV – antennas and loudspeaker systems. In the 80s, the company began focusing on security and quickly became a market leader within high-end video surveillance.
Subsequently, the company has broadened its offering to also include fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control and door phones. In 2000, the leadership was handed over to the next generation entrepreneurs Kimmo Luoto, Mika Packalen, and Tiina Luoto, who have been successfully running the company since. In 2003 they founded THV, which has become a leading independent alarm centre with a strong expertise in alarm surveillance. Key services include intruder alarm monitoring, fire alarm transmission services, alarm indications based on video surveillance analytics, security systems administration services and call centre services.
The companies have demonstrated strong bottom line performance, and over the years they have established a leading market position with strong reputation and brand recognition. Sales are primarily driven by a mix of installation projects and aftermarket maintenance, combined with contracted and recurring sales from the alarm centre, which monitors alarms for thousands of customers across Finland. During the last fiscal year, the company delivered sales of close to ~6 million euros with 35 employees, operating from the company headquarters in Turku.
