Milestone Systems, a provider of open platform company in IP video management software (VMS), has been voted again as one of the ‘100 Best Companies to Work for in Oregon’. Oregon Business Magazine’s annual list and company ranking are based on anonymously answered employee surveys covering many areas of employer performance.
“For a company our size, Oregon’s Best required that at least 15 employees take the survey — we had 48, which shows nice engagement of almost 65%.”
The annual ‘100 Best’ list first noted Milestone Systems in 2017, and in 2018 Milestone earned the 16th position among 88 participating medium-sized companies. Employee survey questions covered six major categories regarding 20 workplace characteristics and 11 Sustainable Practices plus an Employer Benefits score.
Milestone scored especially well in these areas:
• Working Environment was rated 92.7% satisfaction, with the flexibility to balance family, community and job obligations ranking 2.8 out of a possible 3.
• Management & Communication for treatment by supervisors received 2.7 out of 3.
• Decision Making & Trust for ‘pride and belief in the company’ received 2.6 out of 3.
• Benefits & Compensation satisfied 89.5% of employees surveyed, ranking 2.7 out of 3 for paid time off and leave.
