Hikvision recently announced key organizational changes to its North American leadership structure. Jeffrey He has been promoted to Vice President with Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., the company’s parent organization in China. He will remain president of the company’s operations in the United States and Canada, focusing on a range of strategic challenges.
Also, effective immediately, Eric Chen has been promoted to the position of general manager, Hikvision North America, where he will have oversight of the organization’s business operations, according to the announcement. Chen joined Hikvision Digital Technology Co. in 2008 as key account manager. Since his initial appointment, Chen has served in roles of increasing responsibility, including being promoted in 2012 to senior account manager and quickly thereafter being named director of North America’s business unit (NABU). In that role he led a team of professionals to assist in the continued development of the North American market. After two years as director of NABU, he was then promoted to senior director of strategic global accounts (SGA) to support partners in the U.S., Canada and Europe, and the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions
