Digital Watchdog the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, announces the launch of 8- and 16-bay rack mountable network attached storage (NAS) solutions. The DW-BJ8NAS and DW-BJ16NAS models, the latest additions to the new Blackjack® NAS series, are additional storage solutions for any Blackjack® NVR. The NAS devices provide additional video storage for more recording days and more cameras to an existing system while being controlled from a unified DW Spectrum® IPVMS interface.
“Digital Watchdog® Blackjack® servers are extremely popular, offering flexible solutions to match the needs of any application, all powered by our versatile and easy-to-use video management software, DW Spectrum®,” said Mark Espenschied, Director of Marketing, Digital Watchdog®. “The addition of network attached storage devices to the product family makes it easy to add additional storage to a system without the need or expense to upgrade the server.”
Blackjack® NAS rack mount models are high-reliability network attached storage devices for Blackjack® E-Rack™ Servers. The 8- and 16-bay rackmount models act as primary or backup recording for existing DW Spectrum® IPVMS systems. Models offer 80TB and 160TB storage with RAID5. Additional hardware features include dual or quad network ports, hot-swappable HDDs and dual power supply for the 16-bay model. Blackjack® NAS™ devices integrate easily into a Blackjack® E-Rack™ system with a total of up to 600Mbps throughput, allowing you to record and backup more days of video without the need for additional video recorders. The Blackjack® NAS integrates seamlessly into a DW Spectrum® IPVMS system, allowing for an instant search and data management and is backed by Digital Watchdog’s unbeatable five-year limited warranty.
