The German video technology company, Dallmeier, is set to unveil its advanced video solutions tailored for casinos at booth T1 during the World Game Protection Conference (WGPC), occurring in Las Vegas.
Amongst the showcased innovations are the Panomera® V8 multifocal sensor camera, AI-driven video analytics, Casino Automation Technology (CAT), and the Hemisphere® SeMSy® video management system. Modern casinos face the challenge of monitoring vast indoor and outdoor spaces, including their gaming areas, access roads, and parking facilities.
Dallmeier’s Panomera® V8 addresses these needs by integrating multifocal sensor technology with artificial intelligence. This system offers a seamless 180° view with precise analytics capabilities, even over extensive areas, thus ensuring there are no blind spots in surveillance.
The Panomera® V8 enhances situational awareness with the flexibility for detailed close-up views without losing context, covering locations like parking lots and delivery zones with fewer camera installations.
Dallmeier’s CAT system further optimises operations by automating and monitoring table games such as blackjack and baccarat. This technology aids managers in reducing manual tasks, thereby enhancing dealer efficiency and the profitability of table game operations.
The Hemisphere® SeMSy® management software caters to professional system management needs. This modular platform allows for customised solutions covering a spectrum of casino management tasks, from real-time intervention and alarm management to comprehensive analytics and business statistics.
Integration of external data sources, such as RFID systems and slot machines, into Hemisphere® SeMSy® is also a focal point, facilitating seamless video-event workflows for surveillance and compliance teams.
Dallmeier leverages artificial intelligence to extend video technology applications beyond conventional security measures, aiming to enhance efficiency and process optimisation in
casinos.
AI applications operate directly on the camera (edge), ensuring real-time analytics without relying on external servers. Features like People Counting enable precise visitor flow analysis by defining counting zones and setting automatic notifications when thresholds are crossed.
For efficient video research, Dallmeier offers the “AI Person Attributes App,” enabling quick searches even with minimal information. Users can filter videos by clothing colour or items like headwear, expediting the review process with preview-linked results that lead directly to relevant sequences, thereby accelerating evaluations significantly.
Established in 1984 by Dieter Dallmeier in Regensburg, Germany, the company has grown to employ several hundred staff members worldwide, including a significant number at its Regensburg headquarters. Dallmeier provides camera, recording, software, and analytical solutions that optimise security and processes across various industries in over 60 countries, focusing on sectors such as casinos, smart cities, airports, logistics, and more.
