Axis Communications has launched a new cloud-based platform called Axis Cloud Connect, aimed at making video surveillance management easier and more secure. Drawing on their expertise in network video surveillance, Axis promises enhanced security, flexibility, and scalability for customers.

With over 20 years of experience in cloud connectivity and a million cloud-connected Axis cameras in use, Axis Cloud Connect seamlessly integrates with Axis devices. It offers managed services covering system and device management, video and data delivery, and strong cybersecurity measures.

According to Johan Paulsson, Chief Technology Officer at Axis Communications, this platform reflects their commitment to providing secure solutions that adapt to customer needs. By combining cloud technology with Axis’s expertise, Axis Cloud Connect aims to simplify operations for customers.

Collaborating with industry leaders like Genetec, Axis strengthens its position in the market. Genetec’s introduction of Security Center SaaS, combined with Axis Cloud Connect, promises continuous product improvements and cybersecurity updates for customers.

To enhance its offerings, Axis announces the next generation of its video management system, AXIS Camera Station, built on Axis Cloud Connect. This includes AXIS Camera Station Pro, Edge, and Center, catering to diverse user needs with on-premise and cloud-based solutions.

AXIS Camera Station Pro, offers traditional on-premise features with flexible connectivity options. AXIS Camera Station Edge, launching in the latter half of 2024, emphasises cloud connectivity and edge-based AI for direct surveillance needs. AXIS Camera Station Center, also arriving later in 2024, simplifies multi-site deployments into a unified user experience
