
ASSA ABLOY has completed its acquisition of NSP Security, a company known for designing, manufacturing, and installing access control solutions, particularly in the student accommodation sector in the UK.
Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, expressed enthusiasm for the acquisition, noting it as an important technological integration to enhance the company’s existing hospitality business. Delvaux stated that NSP’s capabilities would complement and expand ASSA ABLOY’s growth opportunities.
Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Technologies business unit Global Solutions, highlighted NSP’s reputation as a provider of electronic access control solutions for a diverse client base. Ordan added that NSP’s addition will enhance the company’s offerings within the Hospitality business area, welcoming the NSP team into ASSA ABLOY.
Founded in 1993, NSP employs around 20 staff, with its main office located in Borehamwood, UK. Following the acquisition, NSP will be integrated into the Global Solutions business area of ASSA ABLOY’s Hospitality division.
NSP’s 2024 sales totalled approximately MGBP 8 (about MSEK 100), boasting a robust EBIT margin. The acquisition is projected to enhance earnings per share (EPS) right from the outset.
