Ability Enterprise is set to showcase its newest AI edge cameras for solution seekers at ISC West 2022, taking place from March 22 – 25, 2022 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, U.S.A.
“Despite the still prominent Omicron cases in the U.S., Ability keeps our firm commitment in participating at ISC West 2022”, said Jonny Wu, Senior Director of Ability Enterprise. “We are delighted to showcase Ability’s diverse camera solutions for various application segments including smart city, smart traffic, smart retail, consumer safety, home security, video conferencing and education to our valued customers in North America”.
As one of the leading OEM/ODM camera manufacturers with years of expertise in focal lens design, embedded SoC hardware platform, advanced algorithms for image 3A tuning (Auto-Focus, Auto-Exposure, Auto-White Balance) and image quality enhancements, Ability offers a wide selection of standard and customized camera portfolio that meet every customer for their unique application needs.
Ability’s AI edge cameras are designed with built-in high computing power AI hardware accelerators that support all kinds of AI applications. The application developers can also easily transfer their proprietary AI models to Ability’s edge AI cameras with either Ability AI framework or Intel’s distribution of Openvino toolkit. In addition, Ability’s newest “Driven by OSSA” AI edge cameras fully support the OSSA technology stack and Azena open Operating System, which allow the camera users to simply download their preferred application from Azena App Store and quickly deploy the system. These cameras are also available in multiple form factors with high robustness levels such as Front glass de-icing , IK69K, IP66, IP67, IPx7 and IK10 Design Ready for different application scenarios.
“Moreover, Ability’s AI edge cameras are all designed with integrated 4G LTE modem or Wifi modules for best communication capability”, continued by Jonny Wu. “To insure the highest data security and integrity, all these cameras are designed with advanced cyber security features too such as SRTP(Video streaming encrypted), session authentication, and embedded firewall.”
For the first time at ISC West 2022, Ability is also showcasing a number of AI powered cameras tailored for home security, video conferencing and education markets. “With decades of expertise in camera design and manufacturing, Ability is well positioned and ready for other vertical markets like smart home and video conferencing. Ability’s newest Battery Camera, Video Doorbell, Streaming Cam and VC Cam 180 will also be on display this time”, commented by Peter Pan, Head of Ability’s Video Application Products. The Battery Camera and Video Doorbell are both powered with dedicated AI SoC capable of identifying human, animal and vehicles. The built-in radar sensors also help to activate the bird’s-eye image view and to improve the accuracy of people detection. Not only the 4K Streaming Camera with 1.8” CMOS sensor contributes to the high image resolution under low light condition, but VC Cam 180’s advanced on-camera auto stitching feature also provides an impressively clear and ubiquitous view of the entire classroom during a video conference call. The VC Cam 180’s wide 180 degree FOV lens ensures the footing of each meeting participant remains the same regardless if they are present at the centre or in the corner of the meeting room. In addition, the AI powered VC Cam 180 is able to detect who is speaking during the meeting and automatically adjust the focus on the speaker, which provides the best meeting quality for all participants.
